Russian-born, New York City–trained, and now calling New York’s Hudson River Valley home, illustrator Igor Gnedo creates images that balance a fine art sensibility with sharp visual storytelling. He enjoys transforming complex ideas into compelling visual narratives. His art style blends classic draftsmanship with expressive, contemporary energy, gravitating toward rich textures, layered color, and character-driven imagery.
Igor has worked across editorial and cultural projects, with clients including The Spectator and CNBC’s Disruptor 50 series, and has received recognition from American Illustration and 3×3: The Magazine of Contemporary Illustration.
These days, Igor’s art supplies don’t last long as his studio is often bustling with his three young children, eager to make art alongside him.
