Başak Notz is a Turkish-American illustrator based in Chicago, USA. She translates her inquisitive nature into work that evokes the tenderness we hold for the delights of life... unless her two cats are sitting on her desk or keyboard. Her bicultural perspective is reflected in her ability to capture life, big and small with a hopeful perspective for the future -- even if she sometimes needs coffee in a pretty cup to focus and get going.

Her clients include Cartier, Vogue, and Penguin Random House. When Başak is not working, she can be found spending time with her family and playing tennis.
