Orkibal claims to be a boring person when you consider him in the context of a human being. But when you look at him as an alien, he becomes more interesting. He draws from a palette of exuberant color, and features sparkling landscapes with a definitive urban graphic intensity. The characters of Orkibal are mostly the focal point of illustrations, where they can be seen as rebels, goof balls, superhero-like. They do offer a sense of comic relief in their tongue-in-cheek portrayal of stoicism, but existing in such a state flamboyancy and oversaturation. Is there really any need to take things so seriously?
